As Great Britain drifts towards the retirement of our old, tired copper network, scheduled for 2025 businesses are gradually coming to realise this is far bigger than the millenium churn, about 14 million lines need to go digital in less than 5 years, an impossible task but running two networks, PSTN and Fibre just isn’t financially viable. The early adopters have already gone VoIP knowing prices of equipment will rise dramatically as the cut off date draws ever near. As a business owner myself I can only advise everyone to swap to VoIP as soon as possible as being late to this particular party will prove to be very, very expensive.
