Equipment buyer’s guide

Choose the equipment for the person using it.

Start with the job, not the longest feature list. A reception desk, a warehouse and a person on a laptop have different priorities.

Questions you might have

Should every user have the same device?

Consistency can make support easier, but a receptionist and an occasional caller may need different controls. Standardise where it helps without ignoring the role.

Are shop specifications verified manufacturer specifications?

No. This is a simulated catalogue with original illustrative products and example specifications. A real quotation must name the actual manufacturer and model.

Can I buy an adapter for a safety system?

Alarm, lift, medical and other safety-related systems require specialist compatibility and continuity assessment. Do not assume an analogue adapter makes them suitable for an internet phone service.
